Our Entertainment Director Jenni Alton makes sure that there's always something happening around the grandstand! Between heavy horse classes, the Barrel Bash, and the chuckwagon races, you can listen to some great local talent at the Entertainment stage. A few years ago, Jenni resurrected the old covered entertainment stage, which had been in storage for quite a few years. Now, entertainers have protection from the elements, and can show off their talents no matter what the weather. The stage also provides a great musical ambiance to the food booth areas, giving spectators and competitors a relaxing place to be while they eat. If you would like to be involved in the Entertainment at next year's Nipawin Fair (either as an entertainer or as a volunteer), please contact Jenni or the Nipawin Exhibition Association.

The 2019 Light Horse Show at the Fair was a big year of change. After many years of not running, we revived the 4H Horse Show. It was wonderful to see 4H members from the North East competing, participating in the parade, and learning from a clinic put on by local trainer Henry Schellenberg. Although competitors were competing in the mud for 3 days, the show ran as smooth as could be expected. The barns were full, and there was a good mix of first-time competitors and Nipawi...n Fair veterans in attendance. Thank you to the Light Horse Committe for putting on a great show last year! We had some cool things in the works for 2020, but hopefully we can implement them in the 2021 show! If you would like to be involved in the Light Horse Show, please contact director Avery Ens, or the Nipawin Exhibition Association. : Take Aim Photography
