As of 12:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 23 there will be a fire ban in effect for Nipigon and surrounding areas. Please be reminded that municipal burning permits are not valid during this time. Have a safe weekend!

Please be advised that as of April 3, 2020 there is a provincial fire ban in effect. This includes the township of Nipigon and surrounding areas. No open flames are permitted at this time. Portable gas stoves may still be used at this time but extreme caution is to be taken.
