More purolator: Filled up again even with the new shelves. Theres a backlog of 4-5 days in Thunderbay so please check packages. Please note the Purolator tracking system in the computer is unreliable when we search things here in the office. Purolator packages We are still getting inundated with Purolator packages. We only handle Purolator packages at this time. We are not Purolator; we are only a drop-off point for Purolator.... A high percentage of packages do not have a valid phone number attached to them or no phone number at all. Purolator packages from Pearl, Hurkett and Dorion as well as Nipigon/Red Rock highway and areas outside the Town of Nipigon/Red Rock will also default here. Nipigon Town, Red Rock and Lake Helen packages will be delivered; however, due to increased volume, they are increasingly being dropped off here. Sometimes packages have no name attached to them, or the name isn't available when doing a computer search. If your package only has a PO Box on it, it will be dropped off here. Purolator drops off in the afternoon usually after 2 pm; you may get a notification at 9:30 am - that's your package being loaded on the truck in Thunder Bay. We will hold onto packages beyond the 5 days we are told to, however, if no contact information is present or if the package is large it may be sent back shortly after the five day hold period. If your package tracking says delivered, it has either been delivered to your home or is here. If you receive a call from 887-3583 or 887-3584 thats us trying to call you about a package. Tips for getting your stuff! Make sure your phone number is correct when getting items shipped. Have a tracking number. Please track your package and note who is being shipped via. After much discussion, the 2020 Nipigon Blueberry Blast is to run August 15th and 16th at the Nipigon Marina. There will not be a blueberry bus; however, there ...will be lead vehicles and maps available for picking locations. The Stage will be set up in Peace Pole Park just over the bridge at the marina. Music will begin at 1 pm on Saturday and run until 5 pm followed by the "Attended" draw. Sunday will see music start at noon and run until 5 pm, again followed by the "Attended" draw. The location allows for strict control of those coming and going as per social distancing rules and a limit of 100 people at any given time will bee allowed into the area. A sign-in table will be located just over the Clearwater Creek car bridge where attendees will need to sign in and will be given a ticket at the attendance booth. Upon leaving the ticket will be dropped off at the attendance booth to add you to the attended draw (like an attendance draw but you don't have to be in attendance.) There will be minimal vendors, each of which will adhere to TBHU guidelines. Mask wearing is encouraged where social distancing is not possible. All events are subject to change without notice. There is no backup venue.
