April 28th in Canada is a National Day of Mourning for those who have died, been injured or suffered illness in the workplace. Today we join WSIB remembering al...l those who have suffered workplace injuries and all the families affected by the workplace fatalities. According to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety in 2019 925 workplace fatalities and 271,806 lost time injury claims were recorded in Canada. Today the District of Nipissing Paramedic Services was honoured to receive the Paramedic Memorial Bell. Handed off from York Paramedic Services. Received today by members of the District of Nipissing Paramedic Honour Guard. The bell will stay with us for 5 days before heading off to it's next destination. #paramedicmemorialbell
