This is a true little old Lady, never winter driven car story! Mom (Val Grant) bought her car in 1987 when she retired. She spent winters out West so her little car was tucked away in the garage until she returned each spring. It’s now 33 years old and has only 138,000 KM’s. It’s only seen snow a couple of years but never driven in it. Although Mom (Val) was a good driver, we often joked about steering clear when she was out and about driving. She has now decided she no longer wishes to drive and at 98 years young, that’s OK. Her last drive was this spring out to Morson. She loves that drive and scenery! Her car has been good to her and she would like to do something good with the car. She has decided to auction her car and have the proceeds go to the hospital. Just a little way carry on the goodness of her little car!
