Niverville Physiotherapy is closely monitoring the evolving Covid-19 pandemic and the guidelines being recommended by the World Health Organization and the Province of Manitoba. Our usual infection control procedures are already rigorous. This includes washing hands before and after treatment, sanitizing the room surfaces and equipment before and after treatment. In light of the pandemic, we will be wiping down chairs, counters and door handles in the shared areas (like fro...nt desk and waiting area) on a more frequent schedule. We will also be managing client flow to limit client to client contact. We have instructed all staff to stay home if they have exhibited flu-like symptoms or if they believe that they have been exposed to the virus. We also ask that any clients who exhibit flu-like symptoms, have traveled outside Manitoba int the last 30 days, or think that they have been exposed to the virus to contact Niverville Physiotherapy and cancel their appointments (1-204-388-5217). Anyone exhibiting symptoms is encouraged to contact Health Links for further instructions (1-888-315-9257). We will continue to monitor the situation and implement new procedures as recommended to protect the health of our staff and our clients
