Hello everyone. It is with heavy hearts that we are closing our NIXI shop for the summer and possibly the fall. Due to multiple health issues, with both of us, we have decided to take a hiatus to get our health and physical issues back on track. We will not be at the market this year either. We will continue to sell what we have in stock, but when that runs out, then that will be it for a while. Sorry that we have to do this, but if we don't, then there is the probability that NIXI will end up closing permanently and we don't want that to happen. Thank you to everyone for your support and your business. We shall miss you all tremendously.

Thank you to everyone that has purchased from us in the last few days. We have raised a nice little sum for the family so far. It warms our hearts with the generosity of our friends and family. Thank you all. :) Let's see if we can't raise more for them. :)

It's a wet and rainy day here today. So we are happily working away on dryer ball production and other knitting and crocheting works in progress. It's a good day to be inside, due to the weather causing high pain levels for both of us, but we are determined women and we will continue to create. Don't forget that 50% of all sales, until further notice, will be donated to a local family in need. Thank you to those who have already purchased items, we love you for that and we continue to look forward to raising more funds for them. Have a great day everyone and keep smiling. :)

Hello again Facebook. A dear friend of ours is going through some really bad things right now and we would like to help out. We are not going to go into details of what is happening, but we would like to do our part to keep that family going. So starting today 50% of all our sales will be donated to that family so that they can continue to provide the basic necessities for their family. Every item is included in this. Hello Facebook world.....Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry we have been a little MIA, but we had some family things to get through. We are back now and are slowly starting on production again. Please bear with us as we get things up and running again. We appreciate your support and your patience and look forward to being in full swing again soon.

Hand Crochet afghan available for purchase. This afghan weighs approximately 5 lbs and would be great as a weighted blanket. The measurements are approximately 66 in by 52 in. It is super soft and cuddly and will fit a single bed or great for cuddling under on the couch. Does someone you know benefit from a weighted blanket? If so, this would be perfect for them. The colours are deep an vibrant and the picture does not do them justice. Price is $150 + Shipping if not local to us. Made in a pet friendly(cat and dog) and smoke free home. Today's snowy day is perfect for crafting from home. We are making our increasingly famous Spiced Blue Maple(blueberry maple syrup with some spices), our Whiskey Blue Honey Jam(blueberry jam made with Honey Whiskey) and working on our large slipper order as well. Oh and production on more dryer balls has started again as well....They are flying off the shelf too. Hope everyone has a great day today. These lovely gift sets are available for purchase. Christmas cotton dishcloth sets. They have a sparkle thread in them which makes them shimmer and come complete with their own jingle bell. $7.00 per set. There are 5 red and white sets and 2 green and white sets. Perfect for someone’s stocking.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at Christmas in the Village today. I loved seeing you all and had so much fun chatting with all of you as well. Thank you to Jackie Bierworth for opening up your house to us. :) I had a great time and Tucker was a sweetheart. Here's to planning for next year. Put me down again please. :) Thank the rest of the committee for me for allowing me to be part of this festive occasion again this year. :)

Don't forget that this Saturday, November 25th, we will be at the Strathroy Community Christian School's annual Christmas Craft Market. We will have oodles of jams and jellies, hats and mittens, slippers and cowls, and dryer balls and dishcloths. Come early so that you won't be disappointed. We are there from 9 am till 1 pm. Here is another new creation fresh off our hooks. This is a wonderful thick and chunky infinity cowl. In a soft mint and light grey colour. This will certainly keep you warm and cozy this winter. $25.00 + shipping if not local to us. :)

Taking a break from slipper making and working on some mittens. Supplies were getting low and we have some craft shows coming up. :) Stay tuned. :)

Remember those fuzzy slippers that someone mentioned? Well....they are done. Voila. Soft squishy fuzzy slippers. Warm toasty comfy slippers. Trust us when we say that they are delicious.

Did someone say fuzzy slippers? Why yes they did. Here is the newest creation coming from the homes of NIXI. Will post picture when they are done.

Just an example of some of the styles of slippers that we make. All slippers are $5.00 no matter the size or style. :) Slippers, other than the baby booties, are made with 2 strands of yarn. One is phentex yarn for strength and durability and the other is either a wool or acrylic yarn for softness. These will last quite some time. We also do custom colours as well, so please don't hesitate to contact us if interested in any slippers. There are more slippers, but they are packed away ready for the next craft sale. :)
