We are currently open this fall/winter. Hours of operation are 9am - 3:30pm. Monday to Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Lim Limt (thank you) for your continued support and visitation during these uncertain and trying times!
BE SAFE EVERYONE! Due to the snow falling in our Okanagan Valley, it is our decision to close at noon for the safety of our staff. They have to travel to Osoyoos and do not live close by. For their safety we are choosing to close early, at 12:00pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope everyone remains safe. If you don't have to drive please remain home.
Today we say ‘wey’a’ (goodbye) to two of our most valued and important employees at our Cultural Centre (just for the season); Barb Sabyan and John Herbert. Barb is our events coordinator and so much more; John is our maintenance/animal care expert and like Barb, is so much more here. Our workplace wouldn’t be the same without them and they are appreciated to the fullest!! Thank you (Lim Limt) to John and Barb for all their hard work and dedication to making the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre what it is!
WE WILL BE CLOSED: ---October 9th 2020---- for Cultural Training. We are also closed for the Thanksgiving Day October 12th 2020. Lim Limt (Thank you)

Who has seen a rattlesnake shed before? Here is a quick 20 second time lapse video of our own rattlesnake shedding. Isn’t it neat? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
