Hey Friends! Sunday October 11th we will be doing our 9th annual FREE Thanksgiving Meal for the community! This is a FREE meal for anyone in need! Turkey, Potat...oes, Veggies, Stuffing, Corn, Gravy, and don’t forget smiles! We have an abundance of smiles(behind the masks) to go around. This year we are having to do things a little different, and it will be TAKEOUT ONLY. The store will be open from 9am-11:30am to get all your Thanksgiving baking needs(and coffee), and then we are closing to the public. We will have a table set up on our front porch, and serving the Thanksgiving Dinners from the curbside. With the outdoor serving, we are asking everyone to respect others, and keep a 6' distance while waiting in line. This is our way of saying Thank You to our wonderful community, that supports us every day of the year. This year, more than most, we have really appreciated the support. Can’t think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving, than with our Queenies family. This has been an extra difficult year for many, and we will be setting up a donation jar to help with Mental Health. If you know anyone that wants a great Thanksgiving dinner, please let them know! Please share this, I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out! Thanks, Adam

LOCAL HIGHLIGHTS! Each month we will highlight one local youth pastor or one of our own staff members so you can get to know them! Tyler’s the Youth Pastor at Cobourg Alliance Church. He met his beautiful, sweet wife Emily in Kentucky and a year after getting married came to Cobourg. Three days after moving to Cobourg they discovered they were expecting a new addition to the family, and Isabel’s now 18 months old. Isabel’s excited to welcome her little brother into the world ...in November of this year, and Tyler’s looking forward to seeing more grey hair and getting less sleep. Tyler’s a die-hard fan of the San Francisco 49ers, eats gluten-free goodies at every opportunity, and can’t stand the coffee breath that’s become way more noticeable now that he has to wear a mask. He studied for a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Wheaton College, an Mdiv at Asbury Theological Seminary, and will begin studying for a ThM at Wycliffe College, U of T this Fall. He loves his church, loves his youth, loves to preach, and loves just bumming around talking about theology and life. Call or text him sometime for a chat, but don’t mention last year’s Super Bowl. #hopeandpotential #everyyouthmatters #youthpastorsofcobourg
