Kohlrabi I not going love growing it, but I love eating it too. It is a biennial vegetable, a low, stout cultivar of wild cabbage. It is the same species as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, collard greens, savoy, and gai lan. It can be eaten raw or cooked. Edible preparations are made with both the stem and the leaves.

It's almost time to start planning my garlic seeds! Did you know... Plant cloves in mid-autumn in a sunny location with rich, well-drained soil. Set cloves root side down 4-6" apart in rows 1-1/2 to 2' apart, and cover with 1-2" of fine soil. In the North, put down 6" of mulch for winter protection.Garlic may begin growth late in fall or early in spring. It's almost time to start planning my garlic seeds! Did you know... INFORMATION ON THE ALOE VERA PLANT: Aloe vera is a stemless or very short-stemmed plant growing to 60100 cm (2439 in) tall, spreading by offsets. The leaves are thick and fleshy, green to grey-green, with some varieties showing white flecks on their upper and lower stem surfaces.[7] The margin of the leaf is serrated and has small white teeth. The flowers are produced in summer on a spike up to 90 cm (35 in) tall, each flower being pendulous, with a yellow tubular corolla 2...3 cm (0.81.2 in) long . Like other Aloe species, Aloe vera forms arbuscular mycorrhiza, a symbiosis that allows the plant better access to mineral nutrients in soil. Aloe vera leaves contain phytochemicalsunder study for possible bioactivity, such as acetylated mannans, polymannans, anthraquinone C-glycosides, anthrones, other anthraquinones, such as emodin and various lectins. Who would love a money plant! Lol I could use a few! Pilea peperomioides, commonly known as the Chinese money plant, has such a distinctive look with its round coin-like leaves and straight stems they look gorgeous in short pots like the one pictured. These hardy plants grow quickly with a once-a-week watering (depending on the temperature in your home) and will happily thrive in bright spaces but don’t require direct sunlight! Easy go lucky
Aloe (Aloe vera) is best known for its plump leaves that can provide a soothing gel for cuts and burns. Allow the plant's soil to dry completely in between waterings; depending on the humidity of your home, that may mean watering as little as every two to three weeks.
Snake Plant The snake plant, also known as mother-in-law's tongue or ribbon plant (Sansevieria), is a succulent with thick, waxy leaves. It loves being potbound and thrives on being ignored the perfect plant for two-weeks
