It is National Nursing Week and many friends of the Health Foundation are finding creative ways to support local healthcare. Today we met with Victoria and her son Jack of Lights Apparel, who are supporting the psychiatric department with funds from the sale of her branded clothing line. Victoria wants to thank all the hardworking nurses supporting health in our region!

Many of you want to do something meaningful to support nurses and frontline healthcare workers during this pandemic. The best way to do that is with a donation that will help them on the job every day. There’s nothing more special that you can do right now. Dear friends the COVID case numbers are still climbing. Are you doing everything you can to protect yourself, your family, your co-workers, and your community? Remember to wear your mask, social distance from others, and wash your hands frequently.
The Northern Lights Health Foundation is absolutely delighted to share this media release with all of you. Congratulations to the Tupper Family for putting on an extraordinary light and music show this year and for raising thousands of dollars in support of healthcare initiatives in our region. We'd like to offer a special thank you to all of the neighbours in the Royal Garden cul-de-sac - you are fantastic and your support made the show awesome for all viewers!

Sometimes you just need a little something as a reminder that we are all in this together. This happy snowman welcomes staff to the Northern Lights Health Centre and acknowledges that all healthcare employees are Frontline Heros. We are all in this together to support health and wellness in our region. If you would like to support the great work of your local healthcare team - please make a donation to our Greatest Needs Fund at www.northernlightshealthfoundation.ca
Although the year 2020 is coming to an end it doesn't mark the end of the pandemic. The risk of contracting and spreading COVID is still very high. Please comply with the simple ways to reduce your chance of becoming ill. Wash your hands regularly, stay home as much as possible, and wear a mask in all public places. Together we can get through this.
Thank you Suncor employees for your generosity! Bright Nights was the perfect gift for our community this year and the funds donated will be used for a number of healthcare projects throughout 2021! Cheers and Seasons Greetings from your friends at the Northern Lights Health Foundation!

We are so proud of the Keyano College Office Admin students who are doing community service projects this semester. On Thursday we had a quick (social distanced) chat with Madyson Cheecham, Abby Duncan, Hannah Harvey, and Danielle Bryan who chose to raise funds towards the purchase of personal care gifts for seniors at the Northern Lights Health Centre. Thank you for caring and sharing!
