Today, the Government of Ontario placed Timiskaming Health Unit in the Orange -Restrict category of the provincial COVID-19 response framework. Over the past 48... hours, the situation in our district has changed very quickly, causing the provincial government to move us from green to orange. It is imperative that everyone practice all public health measures and continue to be COVID smart. With our small population, it only takes a few cases for us to move zones and spread can easily be driven by social gatherings. Au cours des derniers 48 heures, la situation dans notre district a changé très rapidement, ce qui a poussé le gouvernement provincial à passer du vert à l'orange. Il est important que chaque personne pratique toutes les mesures de santé publique et continue à être prudente en ce qui concerne la COVID. T...hree cases (#87-#89) are now resolved. The new case is under investigation. The individual is self-isolating. Contact tracing is underway and those who have been identified as close contacts have been, or are in the process of being notified. Just a quick update... All residents are doing well. Showing no symptoms. All staff are doing well, isolating and have no symptoms. We had a busy day today o...ur residents were all vaccinated today. The health unit team was there to help us. We are very thankful to have the vaccine today was a good day ! See more
