FEELING ANGRY? ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS Anger is there to tell us that something is wrong. Some of us get angry more often and with greater intensity than most people. If you’re one of those people, here are some questions to ask yourself that might lead to less anger. ... 1) Am I truly understanding the other person? 2) Are my expectations reasonable? 3) Is my anger getting me what I want? 4) Am I angry at the right person? 5) Is my anger out of proportion to the offense? 6) Can I really change this situation? By asking ourselves these questions when we are gripped by anger, we can release the hold of those negative emotions. All of our emotions are windows into our inner worlds. They tell us about who we are, what motivates us to do things. Taking the time to investigate what is behind our emotions when they arise, can be an enlightening experience. They are opportunities for us to learn about ourselves and grow into something even more magical than we already are. . #nomorewaitlists #betterlife #canadahealthcare #betterliving #takecareofyourself #feelingangry See more
