https://forms.gle/jYFzSjT6JhcazGvZA Hello all, For those of you who are seeing me, or another Osteopathic Practitioner, and consider us essential to your health and well-being I invite you to fill out the following survey.... It was provided to us by the Ontario Osteopathic Association to issue to our patients in an effort to collect data to prove to the government that Osteopathy is an essential service. We would love to remain open and operating in a safe manner over the impending lock-down. With your help we can continue to serve our patients and provide the care you need to keep your body and mind in a healthy state. The survey takes less than a minute and only requires an email address. Thank you for your participation and support!

HISTORY Osteopathy is one of the oldest and purest forms of manual therapy. Osteopathy was invented in Kirksville, Missouri in the late 1800s by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. A.T. Still was born on August 6th, 1828 in Lee County Virginia. His father Abram was a Minister and Physician; his Mother Martha ran the farm and raised 9 children. WHO AM I? I wanted to post a brief introduction to familiarize those who do not know me... I was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. My youth was centred mostly around sports, school, family and friends. Hockey was my main passion growing up, and I played competitively until my career concluded. I still enjoy playing hockey and staying active in a variety of ways. I'm a lover of nature and the great outdoors; books, movies, cards and board games; spending time with family an...d friends. After completing high school I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in Movement Science from the University of Windsor. I recently graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master's Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc). After concluding my education I am now a fully licensed Osteopathic Practitioner and member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. I have been fortunately brought in to join the team at Great Lakes Chiropractic. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to practice alongside so many talented and caring healthcare professionals and even better people. Although I have completed my education, my passion for learning and growing, not only as a professional healthcare provider, but also as an individual rages on. I consider the human body the greatest machine that nature and evolution have been able to produce. To be an effective mechanic of this machine requires an abundance of hands-on experience, and a lifelong commitment to research, study and rehearsal of its component parts. Osteopathy as a science and profession is one I believe in wholeheartedly. Its philosophy and practice is rooted in the principles of natural law, and holds the healing power of the human body to the highest esteem. This career is an undertaking I willfully accept and look forward to providing to any and all who may benefit from it. See more
