What is Zones in the B.E.A.D.S program? A curriculum that was developed for youth to better understand their emotions and develop a personal "toolbox" that will assist them in sorting through their emotions effectively and appropriately. Danielle completed the Zones training course this year, 2020. Zones is among the various resources that will be used during a B.E.A.D.S. program to promote emotional intelligence and improve social, and communication skills. ... With wait times for mental health services continuing to rise, there is an increased need for mental health support. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards hiring a part-time Social Worker. This will ensure all youth have access to mental health services. Golf tournament

Thank you to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Windsor and Sole Focus Project for ensuring that all youth in Windsor-Essex have access to mental health services. Through their "On the Front Lines" project, they can offer the services of an Outreach Worker at Noah's House. The one-on-one short term (3-5 sessions) supportive counselling is with a Registered social worker. When booking, please keep in mind all youth under the age of 12 will require parent or guardian consent to receive the services of the Outreach Worker. Yesterday we had our open house where the community could come and check out what we are doing. Noah's House is a place for youth and young adults to come for mental health support in a non clinical setting. Stay tuned for more information on our October programs!

Windsor has entered stage 3 of COVID recovery, which means as ...of next week @noahshousewindsor youth centre opens its door for youth and young adults in need of emotional support! I’ll be talking about the story behind the foundation, my friendship with Noah Butcher-Hagell, and upcoming plans for programming in the centre! This organization captures the spirit of Noah’s life, can’t believe I get to be involved in allowing it to live on. Tune in tomorrow!
