I really have nothing to complain about today. I am blessed in so many ways - truly. My cup is full. I hope everyone found a little cheer in their day, despite how it was spent. It's because of the years I spent Christmas alone that I know how lucky I am now. Hugs to everyone who spent their day solo <3 Merry Christmas to you all, from my family to yours.

Relationships are the foundation of your business! Let me repeat that - RELATIONSHIPS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR BUSINESS!!! As a business owner, you have relationships with your staff, fellow business owners, suppliers & customers. Without relationships, you have no business! With that being said, if you're a business owner but you naturally suck at creating, maintaining and nurturing relationships, it would be a wise decision to invest some energy into improving this skill set. And I know someone who would love to work with you on that

Today is Remembrance Day, a day to remember all those who fought for our freedom. Some made it out, some did not. My Dad, Neil Washer, was one of the lucky ones who made it home from Afghanistan ten years ago. I remember when he used to call me at work when he was overseas. Sometimes the phone would just cut off because bombs were going off and I never knew if that would be the last time I ever heard his voice. I’d have to wait for the next phone call or email to know if he ...was okay. It was such a trying time for me, but I can’t even fathom what it was like for him. Today I think about all the families forever changed by the many wars we’ve endured. The families who weren’t so lucky. I’m holding them in my hearts and I’m counting my blessings. Always remember!
