Congratulations Dildo on electing your new Major! He certainly has done a lot for the area this summer.

As some of you may have seen, we now have our own version of the Hollywood sign! This is certainly a great landmark for Dildo! First a big thank you to the Smi...th Families for allowing us to place the sign there and crossing over their property with all kinds of tools, lumber etc. It was also the wish of the late Albert Smith to see something like a Christmas star or Christmas lights placed on the cliff. Hopefully this Christmas we can place some lights on the sign in his memory in gratitude to the family for the placement of the sign. Secondly, we also would like to thank the producers for covering the cost of the sign and installation. This is a project we would not have been able to do without their help, due to the enormous expense involved. Finally, a BIG thank you to all the volunteers who helped clear the land and assisted the contractors in the installation. It is amazing how quickly Dildo pulls together to get stuff done!
