Covid-19 related to fish guiding. It’s spring Steelhead time in the Skeena and Kitimat regions. Although the fish are moving in, the clients are not. Tourism is at the lowest we’ve ever seen and seasonal angling guides will struggle from covid-19 financially. Non locals are told to stay away from communities regarding tourism. Currently, there are rules, fishing guides cannot take anyone fishing outside of their family home Staying mentally positive is important, and for me, ...Steelhead fishing has and will continue to be that crutch. I’ll try to post as many pics as I can for our guests that were coming to visit us and give you that armchair feeling thru my posts. Stay Safe and stay positive! Tracey John Hittel - Kitimat Lodge http://kitimatlodge.com PS: Hopefully this June we can book trips for Chinooks either on the river or oceanand that pre booking for USA citizens is an option (if and when the border opens, should be open by June?)
