NGL 2020 FESTIVAL NEWS. As promised we have waited till the end of March to determine if it would be viable for NGL 2020 to move ahead given the situation with what we and the world is facing with Covid 19. After many conversations with our own provincial health experts, industry conversations south of the border and looking at the unpredictability of timeline outcomes on both sides of the border, it is with conviction of safety NGL 2020 will be postponed to 2021. Given th...e majority of our artists are US based and many of our patrons come visit us from other provinces we must weigh all information. We know this will come as a huge disappointment to many but we truly feel given the trajectory of the virus and the bridging time that will be required as we design the new "normal" for large events, when we finally come out of this, time will be required to sort through not only new public health regulations but the financial resources required to get it right. If you have purchased tickets for 2020 be assured your ticket purchases will all be honoured for 2021. We will also be looking at ways to create other special 2021 moments for those of you who bought 2020 tickets. In the coming days emails will go out to all ticket buyers with further info. We know our heavenly Father watches over us and protects all of his children. We also know he has taught us to be good stewards in community and to each other. We must be responsible in following instructions from Public Health bodies as we navigate today's reality. We are in both a spiritual and physical war. Notice to NGL fans specific to the Corona Virus and large event cancellations. We have received notification that Alberta has implemented a ban on all large events to assist in the stop of the spreading of this unpredictable virus. We will be working with authorities in the coming days to look at timelines and the potential postponement of NGL 2020 to 2021..The care and safety of our patron and artists is our primary concern and also following any new Alberta regulations . As... we are seeing most Festivals across the US and Europe are cancelling or postponing to 2021. Should we have to make this call Fans can be assured that their tickets purchased for 2020 will all be honored for 2021. For now we will be suspending any further ticket sales until the end of March giving us further time to access this situation. We know this will be a disappointment and realize we are still in early days however it is also important to realize our team is navigating this in the most responsible way we can at the present time and would appreciate any negative comments to be kept to oneself.
