The residents had an amazing day today! We got to enjoy some live horse entertainment including barrel racing, pole weaving and roping demonstrations all of which were a ton of fun and brought back so many memories for our residents! Even though these events were done on pavement, rather than in a true arena (paced slowly so the horses hooves werent harmed) the residents and the entertainers had a great time! A BIG THANK YOU goes out to the nokomis agricultural society for allowing us to use the demonstration props and to Angel Toews for arranging her children and local friends, bringing in all their animals and thank you to Julie Mortensen for joining in on the fun with your girls and sneaker the pony! Because of you our residents got to enjoy a wonderful afternoon!

The residents were THRILLED to have entertainment yesterday by such a great band "Capo" who come from moose jaw. This incredible group has been entertaining residents all over the province to help spread some cheer to residents during COVID-19. Capo certainly made our residents sing and tap their toes and brought so many smiles across our faces. What a perfect afternoon on the patio!
