Thank you all so much for sticking with me this year. I am truly grateful for every set of ears.

Very proud to be releasing War Face into the world today. I wanted to go for something as far from my last release as I could get and I think we achieved that. It’s an odd little song with no real verses or a chorus. Who knew that could work?! The thought behind it was to build on a vibe...it has an anxiety to it...a sense of desperation, or suspense? It builds and builds until it combusts with an all out sonic explosion before returning to a state of tranquility. I love th...e subtlety within this recording. So as cliched as it sounds, listen loud. With me on this recording was of course the usual suspects... Kevin Donovan on drums and Chris Chwalczuk on bass. Doctor Johnny Pee brings the scattered jazz feel on the keys, and Ben Goerzen & Danielle Marconi stepped in to really put this song over the top with the strings and the build to those frenzied closing moments. Once again Joe Lapinski was the man at the helm and brought this weird little song to life with his excellent production and programming. I am eternally grateful to everyone that helped put War Face together. A thousand thank you(s) doesn’t seem like enough.
