We are devastated and still processing the recent mass shooting that took place in Atlanta. Eight people were murdered including six Asian women who were specifically targeted for their race. The increasing number of attacks against Asian-Canadians & Asian-Americans is deeply disturbing. We are hurting for our Asian community, knowing that our families sacrificed their entire livelihoods to escape from war, and have worked so hard to build a better life, only to be living in... fear for their lives and safety again. Asians have dealt with racism and discrimination for generations, not just since the start of the pandemic. This has caused many of us to internalize racism. Throughout our existence, we've been told that we are different and don’t belong, making us feel like foreigners in our own country. Due to these racial aggressions, we are now seeing real-life repercussions that are specifically affecting our women and elderly, and because of this, we can no longer stay silent. Justice comes from action. Racism will not end until there is love, understanding and protection for every race. We, as a society, need to do our part by educating ourselves and by BEING THE CHANGE. Continue having these uncomfortable conversations in your households, and speak on your experiences. We need to hold people accountable so that we can live in a legacy that our elders have worked so hard to build for us. We are devoted to our responsibility to support, raise awareness, and advocate for all members of the Asian community. APISA voices have been pushed aside for far too long, and we can no longer accept the narrative that anti-Asian racism is not worth speaking out about. No one deserves to live in fear, simply because of their race and the colour of their skin. Let's continue educating ourselves and those around you as we work to #stopasianhate and look towards a better future. We photographed Allen & David's wedding this weekend, and their day was nothing short of breathtaking. They celebrated their love with close family, right by the North Saskatchewan River. In between taking photos, we saw lots of wildlife exploring the land and area, and it was pretty damn amazing. There's not a day that goes by that we don't think about how grateful we are to live this life. Happy Thanksgiving to our families, friends and clients. We are so so thankful for you May your weekend be filled with lots of love and yummy food

I've been really digging shooting black and white style photos and videos lately. Signe and James did a "day after wedding" session with me (yes, it is a thing!) and I'm so glad we were able to maximize our time outside before it gets too cold out!!

These two are so precious Janelle and Daniel had asked me to photograph them while they were in town. And of course I said, "Hell yessss!!!". When I presented their session in person, Janelle started to tear up and I couldn't help but tear up too Can you tell that I'm a sucker for love?! LOL.

We love capturing family portraits, especially when each family member has their own unique personality - shy, chill, quirky, fun, awkward, energetic - you name it! And that's what makes our job fun!! We've been photographing/filming a lot of family sessions lately, and we love seeing the joyful reactions our clients have when they see our delivered work. It makes what we do so much more worth it. We hope you're having a great week and spending as much time outside before it gets too cold!!

I always had a passion for photography/videography when I was pursuing my interior design degree in university. Now when I photograph/film custom builds, it feels very nostalgic for me, and I love that I can apply my interior design skills to my photo/video work. This house is absolutely beautiful, and @cfnconstltd did an incredible job bringing the client's vision to life. Thank you for choosing us to capture the beauty of it all!

I photographed little baby Hannah before Covid happened, and boy do I miss doing in-home newborn lifestyle sessions On the bright side, we are still doing lots of lifestyle photo shoots, but at a safe distance of course!

I had the honour of photographing Hannah's graduation photos. I've worked with her and her family for a year now, and I must say that it's amazing to see how much she has grown in just one year. She's an incredible singer and a very hard working young lady. I loved that I was able to capture Hannah and her horse during our shoot - it's evident to see how much they love each other! My goal with my shoots is to capture connections, whether it's with people or fuzzy friends who have made a huge impact on your life Thank you for choosing us to capture this milestone!
