It’s been an overwhelming weekend at Noodle. Overwhelming in the most positive way ever. The Noodle is bursting with the overwhelming show I’d support. Amazed at the scurry and flurry of ‘noodle heads’ who flocked into the @altonmill this weekend upon hearing the news of the upcoming lockdown. Still decompressing and will post more tomorrow but starting with this wonderful group of #soupswappers.... Original plan was to meet at someone’s house, swap soups and go for a hike. But when things changed for this lil’ gallery mistress the soup swap exchange happened in the mill parking lot followed by a lil’ bit of noodle love. Not only is my heart full but my freezer is full of a variety of delicious soups!

When things are requested Noodle aims to deliver! As requested a close up of the two car images printed on metal. Felt like video was the way to go since it shows off the amazing changes in light, reflection and colour as you move around these pieces...

It’s been a straaanggge year. One that has affected many things and now seems to have brought on an earlier holiday season??? So Noodle goes with the flooowww. We have switched up our front display from autumn to holiday/winter a tad earlier this year. Full of yetis and gnomes and lumberjacks oh my! Also a plethora of new stock and products. Details (including new vendor info!) on all of this and more to come in the next few days... have not done the full holiday decorating quite yet. Doesn’t feel quite right to put it all up before Remembrance Day...

The full artist featured show of Lori Ryerson of @focalocity is so fantastic in its entirety!! Lori has travelled a gazillion miles and taken a gazillion beautiful images. These are just representative of a few!! And then there are the various formats that Lori chooses to print her photographic images on. None of them under glass. The result for her finished pieces is absolutely stunning. Come in to Noodle soon to check out this show in person. And an extra bonus - for each piece Lori has provided an interesting little blurb....

Since the Alton Village is at the very northern tip of the Peel region, sadly Noodle will be going into lockdown on Monday with the rest of the Alton Mill. But don’t you fret you lovely noodle heads you!! We’re soooo close to launching our Noodle online shopping site AND we will be continuing to offer curb side pick up and free local delivery. And you still have one more weekend to get your butt into noodle gear and come visit all the wonderful galleries and studios in ...the @alton.mill! There is a plethora of fantastic and unique gift-giving ideas!! And while your visiting the mill on Saturday afternoon make sure to swing by Noodle btw noon and 4pm to chat with Lori Ryerson of @focalocity about her magnificent work and the stories behind them. Happy Monday Noodleheads!! Are Mondays happy you ask??? They are when it’s so sunshiney in our little neck of the woods aaaaaand we get to announce an exciting new maker in the Noodle artisan market!! The lovely Kate of @arthaus.collectif has brought her clever and cute watercolour scenes on cards and wooden holiday ornaments into the Noodle box and we are happy to welcome her with warm hearts! This lil’ gallery mistress follows this amazing organization advocating for some pretty amazing things. And on the eve of the upcoming US presidential election I couldn’t say it better myself. Worried for our neighbours to the south and what this night might bring. If only we would all only @chooselove every time what a wonderful world it would be... With #election2020 in the US, this message feels especially pertinent.

Only fabric designer extraordinaire @wattsalot can make hedgehogs cute and classy at the same time! This particular fabric has been this lil’ gallery mistress’s fave pattern out of all the fabulous fabrics that @beebydesign uses to make all of her fabulous creations. For a very long time... until today. Until Bridget brought in these Hipster Bag beauties with a new Sarah Watts fabric design. These are glorious moths!! And check out that gilded cork fabric! Holy doodles! Whenever @beebydesign brings in new products the gallery space is filled with oooohs and aaahhss. Today was no exception. Noodle’s upcoming holiday market set up is not going to disappoint....

The response to Michael’s @m.compeau double feature shows ‘Elemental Powers: Water’ and ‘Crimson Golden Days’ has been so very delightful and we are grateful to all our returning and new Noodle customers!! This is the last weekend to check out the few pieces still remaining like these golden beauties! Come in and say hi to Diane. For this bright sunshiney Halloween day she has dressed up like....
