Nordex Explosives Ltd.

Nordex has some of the fastest loading times in the industry. In this operation the ground was quite wet. Casing pipe was placed, then the 7 metre holes were pumped full of Normite. An entire truck can be off loaded in about 2 1/2 hours if the client is ready. At the left is a Nordex designed pump unit. The hose is simply run out to the holes, or casing pipe. The hole is filled and detonators are placed. On the right shock tubes are seen leading from the charged casing pipe to the next pipe.
