The perfect piece, for the perfect place We had a very nice couple show up at our place a couple of months ago with a small rough drawing in there hand and a couple of measurements. After a nice visit we were able to pick through our selection of slabs and find one that seemed to match the dimensions in the picture. After a couple of weeks of preparation we were able to get this beauty installed. The couple picked out the perfect size and style of legs for this piece. The table is a hard maple top, it had some birds eye and a bit of Spalting. We were extremely happy with the way it turned out, and even happier when we seen the spot it was going to sit. Congratulations guys on your new table, and thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to create this with you

We've had a lot on the go. Several interesting and fun projects underway. Have also had some great photos provided from our customers who created there on masterpiece. This pool cube rack. Red cedar, book matched and most definiately one of a kind. Great work Rob and Kathy. Also the bar top another beautiful piece of work by Rob and Kathy. The black walnut top really stands out on this bar. Next is an absolutely georgeous black walnut table top finished by Jocelyn and her lovely little helpers.. so, so happy to see these finished projects by our customers. So pleased to have been a part of their creation. Thanks to everyone who calls, texted, drops by the shop, allowing us to share our passion for the beautiful, beautiful wood ole mom nature blesses us with.

We recently sent a piece of maple crotch to a blade smith and had a big chopper made. We are extremely happy with the craftsmanship. If your at all interested we highly recommend Jacco Van de Bruinhorst at JVB knives

We had the privilege of finishing this amazing bar top. It measures 14 feet long and as wide as 40 inches in places. It’s a soft maple slab, with clean epoxy inlay in the bark inclusions. We left as much bark on as possible by applying epoxy to the cambium layer between the bark and wood, as well as removing all loose pieces and sanding the bark, then applying epoxy over the exterior. For a finish we gave it 2 coats of Odies oil then had it sprayed with an exterior lacquer. If your interested in a slab or custom piece give us a call at (519) 909-1509

Coming soon! We were recently able to get some beautiful black walnut slabs sawn. These beauties are over 40 at the narrowest and over 60 in some places They will be a while before we have them dried, but can hardly wait to get working with these. A couple more happy customers. The first is a custom top with finished for a customer who placed it in her living room as a coffee table. Its elm with a good amount of epoxy. She is thrilled and so are we. In that same photo we have a maple burrow finished as a side table. The piece looks beautiful and finishes the homey, inviting simplicity of the room . We love getting pictures of Projects that people have completed with lumber that we have supplied. Kris (the fella with the beautiful Maple table) also picked out this piece of walnut while visiting us. He once again had a project in mind and was quick to put a plan into action. This piece looks absolutely perfect for the setting. It’s a black walnut top, which he has cut and shaped, sanded, cleaned up the bark, and finished. I really admire Kris’s eye for finding the right piece for the right place. The steel legs he chose are like none we’ve seen before. They certainly give it a classy look without taking away from the top. Both the top and legs blend elegantly. Once again, great job Kris! Another fantastic piece.

We have a young entrepreneur named Riley who has been coming to our shop since last fall to select live edge boards for charcuterie boards.
