THI does not call for potential disconnections, they connect through written correspondence 48 hours prior. Only Tillsonburg Hydro - not Hydro One - has the authority to disconnect power to its customers for non-payment issues.

Southwestern Public Health today reported four active COVID-19 cases in Tillsonburg (and 12 in the Oxford-Elgin region). Haldimand Norfolk now has nine active COVID cases.

Due to a planned power outage at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital tomorrow (Saturday), there will be no patient visits. There will be reduced lighting and some elevators will not be working while they install new generators. Normal hospital services will continue Saturday, including the Emergency Department.

The plan is to have Tuesdays as the rural/smaller communities day (eg. Tavistock, Norwich).
