North Island Norm

Right now government needs to support British Columbians through the covid19 pandemic. It is going to be economically challenging, we will have to run deficit budgets - but it's justified, and we will need responsible government on the other side to ensure the economic recovery is for the benefit of everyone. I know we cannot tax our way to prosperity, instead we must grow the economy to affordably fund our strong social services.

Hope you've voted! I am Norm Facey and I promise to represent all people who live in the North Island riding no matter who you vote for!

The pandemic highlighted some vulnerabilities in how we care for seniors. We can do Better. My own parents are in Langley Gardens, and not being able to safely visit them has really been hard. We need a government that takes this pandemic seriously, and all parties were doing that until the NDP called an unnecessary election. We need a government that puts BC first, not their political schemes.

This campaign has been a lot of hard work - and worth it as the NDP took this riding for granted, and failed to support the hard working men and women in the North Island when they needed it most. But sometimes you need to find that little boost in motivation to keep going - phone the next number, respond to the next email, answer the new debate question - for me I just look around the room - BC needs a responsible government that it can trust:
