November 9th, and Quesnel's second measurable snow fall. Looking at the forecast, more to come as well. Are you and your snow blower ready? These first snow clearing days are when we "find" things forgotten buried in the snow, which can break shear pins, and may cause other damage to your machine. If that should happen, Norms Small Engine Repair is here to help, with a supply of belts, impellors, friction drive wheels, cables and shear pins in stock for most models of snow b...lowers. We also have several "older" parts machines..never know, we might have that part you need for your older Craftsman, Murray or MTD machine. We are also happy to mention that we have upgraded our shop area, added concrete pads, several loads of gravel, and graded the driveway. Having covered storage for customer's machines close to the shop is also a plus. Our driveway may seem a bit larger (it most likely is), but it is also much easier to snow blow. As you can see, both Norm and the snow blower got a work out this morning. And yes, good thing we have shear pins in stock as we broke one of those this morning. October 2017 I was upgrading the shop and entrance for what is now the home of Norms Small Rngine Repair. Opened for business in November of 2018 after completing training and have met so many awesome people since. 2020 has offered up a few challenges, especially in the parts availability but after almost 2 years I am looking forward to continued service to the great local people Thank you all for your patronage and support!!

It has been a busy couple of weeks (while on holidays), but come Tuesday Morning the entrance to Norm's Small Engine Repair will look much different. The driveway has been re-graded, and two concrete pads poured outside the front of the shop will make it easier to get machines in and out, plus provide a much "cleaner" entrance way. We are also working on a "new" intake area, and covered storage for all of the customers machines, something that the winter of 2019 and the wet rainy summer of 2020 have shown we need.

OK people, time for a little "me time", or so the "Boss" says. We'll be sneaking away for a short vacation over the next couple of weeks. Yes, we will leave the answering machine on.. We realize some customers are waiting for their machines, but in most cases, at this time we are still waiting for parts. We will also begin booking Snow Blower Service and Repairs in September. ... After a summer of having parts issues, perhaps you may want to schedule your snow blower work early.. BTW, we have belts, blades and of course Snow blower Parts in Stock for most machines.

Yes, we offer lawn tractor servicing, blades belts and repairs, Hard to find part for the home repair type, check with us. HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE Hourly shop rates will apply to all "Non OEM" cabs and A/C required to be removed to service the machine.
