Fishing opened yesterday, mostly Jackfish so far this early in the season. They are catching from the dock and shore too. I have 2 riverfront power only sites available for the May long weekend. I went for a bike ride this morning to the beach and could not see any ice. We have had either east winds or lights winds for a week so I am not sure how far out the ice is, definitely well past Dog Island. Boats have been going out to the lake from here. Fishing opens on Saturday May 15th! I have quite a few sites available this weekend and for the rest of May after the long weekend. For the May long weekend I have 3 riverfront power only sites available. For June 1-24 I ha...ve very few sites available. I do not have any sites available from June 25 to July 13. Went for a beautiful mountain bike ride, enjoying the fall colors. Went on The Great Trail and around our campground. We have Rad Rover e-bikes that we got this spring and I love it. I have just over 2000 km and everyone who has tried them love it too.
