NorQuest College 08.11.2020

The health and safety of NorQuest College students, staff, and the community is our first concern. That’s why we’ve followed the guidance and advice of public health officials through each stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. As cases have risen dramatically across the province and in light of additional restrictions imposed to address the spread of the pandemic, NorQuest has postponed tomorrow's installation event for Carolyn Campbell as President and CEO. We will continue to monitor the situation, plan for future opportunities to celebrate, and look forward to welcoming guests back to the college for Carolyn’s installation, once it is safe to do so. Invitees will be notified when we've finalized a new event date.

Congratulations to our nominees for National Philanthropy Day Peter & Ellen Campbell and TD Canada! We also recognize all those who support NorQuest students as we join AFP Edmonton & Area Chapter to celebrate National Philanthropy Day. TD helps raise money to break down financial barriers keeping students from pursing an education and achieving their goals by supporting One Thousand Women: A Million Possibilities. They also generously fund bursaries and awards, giving stud...ents much-needed financial support and recognition for their hard work. Once we discovered NorQuest had such excellent programs for helping new Canadians learn English and helping Indigenous students upgrade their studies, we were sold! NorQuest has a lovely family-type atmosphere for students and some of the success stories of students coming out of difficult situations and ‘making good’ by moving into meaningful lives and jobs is very inspiring.
