We are so happy to have RJ back this summer! RJ is a University of Ottawa Software Engineering student doing his co-op placement at Nortak. We are looking forward to some great things!

On Saturday, Nortak prepared and donated Caesar and chopped salads for dinner service at one of our local soup kitchens. We followed up with Team Nortak taking over a 5-9pm shift serving, bussing, and dish washing. We also made and bagged sandwiches. By the end of the shift, we were in awe of the regular employees and volunteers of the soup kitchen for all they do and deal with on a daily basis. Kudos to Joey, James, Allison, Yuko, and John for their energetic work. (Our camera-shy 5th member of Team Nortak preferred to be behind the camera instead of in front. :) ) Great job guys!

So the boss brought in heart-shaped donuts for the office for Valentine's Day! :)

Happy 2019 everybody! We started off the new year with a little training for some of our employees! Got to keep learning!

What are these shiny rings? They're platter spacers in hard disks. Before sending our old computers to the recyclers we remove the hard disks for data security. The guys here like to destroy the platters but keep the platter spacers as kind of a souvenir!
