North Queens Ground Search Spring clean up last Saturday morning. Beautiful morning! Unfortunately we had 20 bags and 10 bags of recycling since the cleanup last fall. Thanks to all the volunteers!

Our shelter is complete. A big thank you to Mary Lake Home Hardware Building Centre for their help in storing the material and getting lumber to us when it was in short supply. Thanks to John Tufts and Murray McNutt for their expertise in putting things together. Also, great thanks to Mike Knock for help with the wiring on the new bus And help making the new building and bus ready for use. Good work to the whole crew involved.

Thanks to the Caledonia Earth Guardians for helping North Queens Ground Search and Rescue with their Litter Cleanup this year. 16 bags of garbage, 4 bags of cans and bottles. Lowest amount of garbage yet. Hopefully a good sign that people are respecting our environment! Funniest piece of garbage- an old litter cleanup sign!

Caledonia Earth Guardians and North Queens Ground Search and Rescue will be teaming up this Saturday to host a Litter Cleanup in Caledonia.

Roadside litter cleanup on Hwy 8 today in the mist, with a breakfast break at Queens County Fairgrounds. We noticed there was less garbage this time than last year - great improvement, community!

Today was a busy one for North Queens Ground Search and Rescue Team! Great job everyone today for turning up at short notice for the garbage clean-up along Highway 8. Plenty of garbage since the spring, unfortunately, but now our ditches are cleaner :-) This evening saw members out helping North Queens Fire Association to control traffic during the Christmas parade in Caledonia. Thanks to everyone who took part in the parade - It looked fantastic!
