It's Chase the Ace day! It's raining, it's pouring, so come get your tickets before 4!!

A huge congratulations to this year's award winners. We have the fantastic father/son duo, Allan and Matthew Williams. Matthew is being recognised for being Junior Fire Fighter of the Year, and Allan as Senior Fire Fighter of the Year. Next we have Tara Gauthier who was presented the Medical First Responder of the Year by Deputy Cheif of the PEI Fire school, Heather Hume. The final award is the Chief's Award. This was awarded to Allan Williams and Ryland Yorke. Well done everyone.

Last night the North Rustico Fire Department presented Alison Larkin with a special plaque. In October, Alison decided to retire from the fire service after 14 years of serving the community of North Rustico. She has held every position in the department, from Fire Fighter to being the first female Fire Chief in PEI and Atlantic Canada. Alison brought professionalism, confidence, and experience with her that will truly be missed by all the members. We wish her all the best on her next chapter, and thank her for everything she has done for the department.

Hey Gang! Come on down to buy your Chase The Ace ticket, this Saturday until 4pm. Tickets are $5 each. Draw is around 6:30. After the draw come drive around the Crick and try this Scavenger Hunt! Don't forget we are collecting canned good for the food bank too!
