As most ppl know already, Im closing the doors on Northshore Construction, I teamed up with some great guys, Ill be working with them and the new construction company we are opening in town, I made this decision over the last few weeks, Ill be working with them to show the ins and outs of the trade. Myself, eventually Im heading back Rigging again, its been fun over the last few years, I enjoyed working for alot of awesome clients and for alot of amazing friends, we did some really amazing and cool projects. NorthShore Construction employees are taking all the proper steps and precautions with this virus. Under the list issued from the Ontario Government this morning, NorthShore Construction can keep working under section 28 in the Commercial/Residential. We are picky of the jobs we are taking at the moment, in high traffic... areas as we are Family Men and Women, are office is currently closed but are still taking calls and booking jobs. So I was just going through the NorthShore Construction emails, I get this one, open it, this is unbelievable. The Construction Source Canada Magazine wants to do an interview on NorthShore Construction for next month issues, about who NorthShore is, the story on how we got started, are growth and future of the company, ups and downs Ive face and ect. The feature would be on Pg 8 of the magazine next month and issued across Canada !! Im so taken back by this, I have no idea what to even say, Im at a loss for words on this one. One Year ago today :)

Good Morning So over the weekend here in beautiful Sault Ste Marie. I've come to the realization that with all this snow and mixed weather :( I have to clean off my roof as well as some Family. I've seen Ice Damming on people's homes, that's no good for anyone, this is hard on the home and roof as well, resulting in shingles popping, water damage, issues in your insulation and other interior problems and in extreme cases roof collapsing. Please be careful out there today, one of the NorthShore Construction guys got into an accident this morning w/ one of our crew trucks :( broke traction and slid across the road into on coming traffic. No one got hurt thank God. Glad both drivers are okay, looks worse than it was, can replace the trucks but you cant replace a life, pls drive to the conditions of the road.

So this morning on the job site we got word that God sent an angel to come take young Kayge Fowler by the hand and bring him home, looking at my guys, this got to everyone on our site :( such a big story of Family, Strength and Community. We all learned something in one way or another in one Families struggle of this beautiful child. Its with a heavy hearts NorthShore Construction extends our deepest Condolences to the Fowler Family in this most tragic of times. In memory of Kagye and to show our support to the Fowler Family, NorthShore Construction will be wearing Yellow shirts this week on all our job sites in Honor of this little worrior. Rest easy Kayge :(
