The North Sydney Food Bank Society has moved to Seton School. Seton School is located just off Regent Street at 25 Wilkie Avenue. We continue our efforts to distribute food and keep everyone safe including our volunteers, our donors, our clients and our community. For the present time until restrictions are lifted the North Sydney Food Bank Society have changed the way we distribute food. We continue taking appointments for Fridays daily from 9 am to 11 am. Simply call the f...ood Bank @ 902-794-1104 to make an appointment. Be sure to have your membership card handy to give your number when you call. Book your appointment for Friday for any time between 9 AM and 3PM. If you are in need of food and have never accessed our service before no worries please feel free to do so now. With continued community support we can continue to help lower food insecurity in our community. Please be advised the North Sydney Food Bank Society will no longer allow visitors, clients, and the general public into our food bank until further notice. The... community needs our help now more than ever to continue to provide food assistance during this difficult time. If you want to help us continue our service to the community, we are asking for your help and cooperation so that we can do that. If you want to make a donation please do it by mail at North Sydney Food Bank Society, PO Box 254, North Sydney , Nova Scotia, B2A 3M3. You can also e-transfer to [email protected] at the RBC. This will enable us to get what we need when we need it. Please make sure the food is non perishable and that it is not too far past the best before date. Items such as Boost and baby formula have expiry dates so they cannot be accepted if the date is past the expiry date. Our next opening day is April 10 will be by appointment only starting at 9 A.M. Clients will not come into the building. We ask that you bring someone with you to carry your food to your transportation. Call today to make an appointment. Thank you to Paige Cox, the staff at St Josephs church as well as everyone that participated in the community dance showcase last Thursday. 40 dancers and almost 200 in the audience, 700 dollars raised and 3 big boxs of food all was donated to the north Sydney food bank!
