"Educators, in the design of a responsive learning environment, nurture children’s dispositions to learn." - Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework In their pursuit of knowledge of Winter Animals, Educator Ela provided a variety of activities that enabled the children to explore through art, literacy, gross motor and even eating what penguins would eat for lunch, "fish". The children wanted Ela to show them how to make a polar bear. She encouraged them to use their imagination to create their vision of a polar bear through art.

Dayhome - South/Daly Grove - Souad has years of daycare and dayhome experience with a Child Development Supervisor Certification.
