With the warmer temperatures and lack of snow, the season has come to an end. We are closing the Clubhouse and trails as of 5:00 pm today. It was a great season of skiing and we thank everyone for their cooperation!

The sole purpose to visit Nordic Ski Club should be to exercise alone or with members of your household as per the provinical government directive. Socializing near the Clubhouse or anywhere on the trails is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Your cooperation is essential if Nordic Ski Club is to remain open.

Virtual Canadian Ski Marathon: this event has been in existence since 1967 and is one of a kind. Obviously this year it's going virtual. If you are interested in participating, this could be your year! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

The following statement is issued by the North Bay Nordic Board of Directors: Visitors from outside our local health district are NOT to travel to our Club as outlined in the Province’s current COVID-19 response framework advising against non-essential travel. This decision was made to help ensure the safety of staff and members. Please note that North Bay Nordic reserves the right to limit the sale of day passes and we encourage everyone to follow the provincial guidelines... to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For our members and local residents visiting our club, please make sure to self-screen prior to arrival, always practice social distancing, and wear a mask when entering a building, purchasing a day pass or renting equipment. Members are encouraged to enter the trails using the gate entrance at the far side of the parking lot. Once travel restrictions are over, Nordic Ski Club welcomes all visitors to cross country ski and snowshoe on our trails!

CORRECTION - To help ease peak usage, we are staffing the Clubhouse until 8:00 pm on Fridays.

Due to the lockdown extension, the Jackrabbit/Bunnyrabbit program will start on Sunday, January 24. An email with full details was sent to parents/guardians.

Great to see so many children enjoying the trails over the Christmas Break.

In consultation with our local health unit, we can remain open. Please continue to follow our current COVID protocols. Reminders: - When possible, members are asked to use the gate at the far side of the parking lot. - A mask must be worn if entering the washroom or accessing your locker.... - For the next 28 days, the direction from the government is to exercise with members of your household. - We are not offering ski lessons. The Board of Directors are reviewing the new provincial public health restrictions and will provide a further update once we understand the impacts on our operations, services and facilities.

You can still buy a membership! This is the year to try cross country skiing!

Registration is open! We plan to offer the Jackrabbit program. Due to COVID-19, two session times are available - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There are 50 spots per session.
