You can choose whether you want your class to do tennis or pickleball or both! Maximum class size is 24 students. Book now for lessons during sport electives. Safe time and money, no need to put your class on the bus, I come to your school and use the gym at a time that suits the teacher's schedule.

Fundamental Movement Skills, Coordination and Fun! Take the headache out of your sports elective this year. I bring all the equipment to your school gym and give introduction to tennis lessons during school time in your regular PE sessions. I'm flexible with times, but book soon since January and February are the most popular months. No bus fees! Cost is $3 per student per hour (minimum 10 students per class - maximum 30)

Teachers can now book dates and times for lessons from January to March 31, 2018 for lessons inside their school gym. Cost is still $2.50/student/hour for classes of 12 or more students. The cost for classes with less than 12 students will be a flat fee of $30/hour. Lessons from April 1 to end of June can only be booked at the North Bay Tennis Club on Trout Lake Road for the same costs.

All equipment is provided by a coach that gives your students the chance to learn a new sport during normal phys ed. class time. This program is a North Bay Granite Tennis Club initiative to introduce juniors from JK to Grade 12 to tennis. The lessons are customized for each age group to cover parts of the The Ontario Curriculum - Health and Physical Education. Small group of grade 6,7&8s at MSB with on Friday. This was the last of 3 sessions and by the end of it they were all able to rally with each other over the full length of the gym. Well done players!

Teachers: Book now to get your preferred time slot for Tennis Electives from now till the end of April. Last year I was booked full and I could not accommodate some classes closer to spring. I will not be able to do any tennis inside schools from May onward. Schools will only be able to book lessons for classes on the courts at the tennis club during May and June.

I am Fransua Rachmann, the head tennis coach at Nipissing District Tennis Club in North Bay. I offer tennis lessons to schools as a Physical Education activity during school time, or as an option for sport electives. I provide all the equipment and can accommodate classes of up to a maximum of 30 students (depending on age, gym size etc.) I have coached tennis for the past 19 years and I have coached this mini tennis lessons for the past 3 years to schools and YMCA After S...chool Care groups. I have lesson plans based on the Ontario Curriculum for Health and Physical Activity for classes from JK and SK all the way through to high school senior groups.
