North Channel Getaway!

To all boaters near and far, past/present/future, we are pleased to let everyone know that the power upgrades at Roberta Bondar Marina to supply power to the ne...w docks is now complete. There is some interlock brick work, gate installation and final items to be completed, but Roberta Bondar Marina is once again able to offer power to the docks. Next week construction fencing will be removed and some grass repairs will also take place. We wish to everyone for their patience and understanding during the reconstruction of our Transient Marina. Today we've seen quite a few arrivals and all are quite pleased and impressed with the new docks. We are looking forward to many years of welcoming all boaters on the North Channel. Amy Babinchak and Missy Siudara of the ketch Wind Trail stopped by to pick up boater gift bags (36 in all) to present to those boaters attending the GLCC Wilder...ness Rally this coming weekend. They are gathering at Turnbull Island. The bags and information contains are compliments of the North Shore Marine Tourist Council. Afterwards I went down to their boat to deal with VHF radio problems. I’m not able to bounce on board but I can bring my equipment and give a lesson on how to use it. See more
