Planning a fireworks display for your family this Halloween? Fireworks (which includes cannon-crackers, fireballs, firecrackers, mines, Roman Candles, sky-rockets, squibs, torpedoes, and such other explosives) can only be used in North Cowichan with a valid fireworks permit. We are accepting applications for the position of Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator, primarily in an advanced biological oxidation process system. The Municipality has four waste water treatment facilities; two extended aeration secondary treatment plants; a complete mix aerated lagoon treatment plant with tertiary treatment for phosphorous removal, and a tertiary membrane-type treatment plant.
