**edit** Hey folks, good news! We are STILL reopening for the 2021 season this May! With the current lockdown, we will be reopening this Saturday May 22 for takeout only! As such, we are restarting our search to fill both front of house and back of house positions in order to gear up for another busy season here in the county.... Full and part-time positions are available including dishwashers, prep and line cooks, as well as serving staff. Please forward your resume to [email protected].
We are currently looking for full and part dishwashers for our busy lakeside restaurants for the upcoming tourist season. Willing to train less experienced, enthusiastic individuals looking to gain a foot in this industry. Open availability an asset but not a requirement. Preference to applicants who are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Are you passionate about the hospitality industry? Do you work well in a high pace environment? Are you a great team player? We would love to meet you.
We are now officially closed for the remainder of 2020. We have depleted all available stock and cannot take any additional tables! Please stay safe and healthy! We thank everyone for their patronage and please check back in the spring for reopening news!
Come help drain our kegs before closure! While supplies last 5$ pints! Food is disappearing quickly as well!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be closed today (Sunday September 20th).
Our last day of business for the 2020 season will be Sunday September 27th. We thank everyone for their continued patronage and hope that everyone has a wonderful, safe, happy, and healthy fall/winter!
Quick reminder that we will be closed today for a private event. Absolutely no public access to our establishment or takeout available.
Just a reminder our fall hours begin next week, meaning we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Other closure dates: - Wednesday September 2nd - kitchen maintenance work - Sunday September 13th - private event
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be closing today at 5pm.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be closing this evening at 5pm.
As of Monday August 31st we will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We will also be closed on Sunday 13th for a private event.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we will only be taking limited seating this evening. Due to this, wait times may be longer and we cannot accommodate groups larger than 6 and only have one table open that fits 4-6 people. As always, hostility directed at staff members will not be tolerated. ... We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understand that this may cause a disruption of plans for some folks looking to dine with us this evening.
Hello all! Our first official rain day since phase 3 opening! The dining room is open, however due to social distancing and smaller capacity limitations, seating is limited.... We want to remind guests that we are still under a mandatory face covering/mask bylaw, meaning that guests (without legitimate exemption) may not enter our establishment without wearing a mask or covering. Masks MUST be worn during the entire duration of your visit, but for while eating and taking sips of drinks. We ask that guests looking for seating please wait outside under our covered deck at the front of the restaurant and do not enter until a staff member greets you at the door. We appreciate everyone’s compliance immensely and apologize for the challenges that these new regulations present during these every changing times.
It is after careful consideration, for the continued safety of our staff and guests alike, we have chosen to only open our indoor dining during inclement weather/to move inside once it’s raining or storming from our patio. Although the government has moved our area into phase 3, with such a heavy transient tourist patronage during this time of the year, we at North Docks still would like to see continued improvement of the current situation before we open our dining room perm...anently. We would like to remind everyone that the mandatory bylaw outlining mask wearing while inside commercial establishments is still in place. This means that during the times in which we do allow patrons to dine inside they will still be required to wear masks only removing them while taking drinks or bites of food. For this reason dining indoors SAFELY can put added stress, confusion and difficulty on staff and patrons alike. We wish to avoid potential confrontation during these difficult times and allow our patrons to experience an enjoyable stay while dining with us while also ensuring that our staff are respected and safe. We understand that this has been a hot humid summer and the indoor AC may be appealing to many. We apologize to anyone that does not support this decision however the safety and emotional mental well-being of our family-like staff at North Docks is of paramount importance to us. We hope that this decision can be respected and understood. We still hope to see everyone in the near future.
Unfortunately do to the weather, we are closing at 1pm. Stay dry out there and we hope to see you tomorrow!
