Her education in nursing with experience in mental health and addictions serving at risk youth, injection drug users, and sex trade workers on the streets of Edmonton and Calgary, plus her "passion for compassion" drives our Outreach Team to provide our clients with the best strategies, tools and solutions possible.... "April 4, 2016 was the day that my life changed. I did not know going home from work that night what was going to happen, I knew it was not going to be good. I was right. I am a victim of domestic violence. I fought for my life that night. Luckily, I survived. NEOSS staff picked me up the next morning and took me to the shelter. The shelter was not even open yet. I was the very first client.I was terrified. NEOSS was there for me. I remember this caring wonderful w...oman taking me back home to my acreage that night. She offered her hand to me and said, Hold on tight and don’t ever let go. I will not let go. I am here til the end. This wonderfully wise woman and the organization she is with, held true to her word. NEOSS was there when I needed help. I did not know anything about domestic violence. I had no clue. I do not know where I would be if not for NEOSS. Melfort is so fortunate to have such and amazing facility in this city that I am so proud to call home. Today is the last day to get your Fall Supper Preorders in, and the last day to set up delivery for your order. If you want to feed your farmers good this weekend, call us! We will deliver meals (min of 4 orders) to farms within a 25km radius of Melfort. REMEMBER there is also drive up meals available while supplies last!
