NEHM would like to give a huge shout out to this awesome couple who we met at breakfast at Rise and Shine Family Restaurant as they were donating toys to the FILL THE BOOTH TOY DRIVE. For a donation of an un-wrapped new toy, gift cards or cash donation to the North End Harvest Market non Custodial Parent and Grand Parent Program -- you will receive a free coffee and a great feeling of feeding a child's heart at Christmas. Toys can also be dropped off the North End Harvest Market and if you are looking for more information, contact the market at 519-835-1016 or [email protected] .

I am writing this post on behalf of the NorthEnd Harvest Market and the Grandparent and Non Custodial Parents Christmas Program. This is for Grandparents and No...n Custodial Parents that do not qualify for a Salvation Army hamper or have little income. Unfortunately Covid has made it almost impossible for us to get donations because most of the places that would have donated are struggling and in need themselves. I am asking my fellow Guelph friends to donate what they can to help. Do you have items that you have posted on auction sites and had no bids or do you have items lying around your house taking up space? Please consider donating them. All items need to be new and unopened. Some item ideas are toys, arts and crafts, baby essentials, purses and bags ,toiletries, items for ages 14 to 17, gift cards and much more. If you have any questions about what to donate or where, please contact Barb McPhee or myself on facebook or you can call 519-835-1016. You can also drop off your donations to our friends at the Rise and Shine Restaurant downtown for our "Fill a Booth" fundraiser. The program launch is there tomorrow morning so what a great time to drop something off. You will receive a free coffee from them for your donation. Thank you in Advance and please stay safe.
