Many ask the difference between our organization and many others in rescue. Truth be told we all offer a unique way in which we help! Our program was designed to educate and guide families while supporting communities working towards a positive tomorrow for all animals. Rather then removing animals today to face the same problems tomorrow, we work with communities to offer support, education and guidance to help families stay together. We promote responsible pet ownership and... in order to achieve this we need to ensure all communities have access to the tools and resources needed to succeed. We provide resources like Dog Safe programs for children, offering access to vet care and parasite prevention, humane education, access to a food bank during financial hardship, and much more! In the event if an animal is removed from a community, we work together with other approved rescues to help facilitate a positive rehabilitation and adoption :) Working in rural northern communities doesn't consist of occasional visits, but extended stays and round the clock support! We can't say thank you enough for the continued support as we all work together for a better tomorrow. See more

Our goal for May! Would you like to help us help them? Would you like to sponsor a barn cat or two? ... Donations can be made to the SPCA Spay and Neuter Clinic on the Soft Paws Cat Rescue Society’s account Our goal is to help these cat and find adoptive barn homes for everyone. We’d love to pair them up because they’ve been working together for years as is. Adoption for a pair is $80 and that includes their spay/neuter, tattoo, treated with revolution(covers a wide range of pests) They will be looking for permanent job after their apts. all they ask in return is a shelter to keep them from the harsh weathers, food and clean water. Would you have an opening in your barn to give them a job?

*Barn home needed* If you have a barn, workshop or heated garage, Munchie would love to move in. Munchie is less than a year old and is semi-feral, which mean...s he's very scared of humans but is not mean or aggressive. He'll require shelter and food, but will help pay his own way via rodent control. He has been neutered and vaccinated, his adoption fee is by donation, which will go to helping the next feral/ 'unadoptable' cat be fixed and homed.

Canine and Feline Fashion is in the house!!!!!! We have brand new collars and leashes from several Canadian makers. We are starting with Bone and Arrow wit...h the most beautiful and functional collars and leashes coming to us all the way from Muskoka, ON. From the Kootenays, Nicole from N.G. Collars has sent up the most colourful Proof collars and these beauties are durable enough for life in the North. Next up, for our feline friends we have fun breakaway collars and leashes from Silverfoot down in Squamish, BC. These little cuties will look good on any cat and the breakaway feature will keep these little climbers safe. Lastly, we have an amazing selection of custom made leather collars, from local maker, Blake Sharpe. Blake is making up some leashes too. We have the opportunity to offer custom work from Blake too, so if you have a special request, we can have that custom made for you. Come down and check out all these Canadian made fashions for your pup or kitty, we are located at 1823 1st Avenue. #wedeliver #madeincanada #loveyourpet #doggyfashion #kittycouture #wedeliver #Canada #chooselocal #feedrealfood See more
