Northern Light Resort

Just talked to the health inspector. You can come out to your trailer to do maintenance or repairs only. You can not stay more than a 24 hour period. Same house hold members only. No friends, no wandering, no visiting, etc. People with new units can bring them out. This is the way it will be until at least May 8th when the gov't reassesses the situation. Please do your part so hopefully we can enjoy the long week end. Have yourself a wonderful day. Kevin

Too all our US friends Things aren,t looking good for May and June. So if the border remains closed then we will rebook you all for the same dates and cabins for next spring 2022. They are pushing for july 4th for the border However Ont has just went back into stay at home orders for another 4 weeks so we have to wait and see. Hopefully it opens sometime this summer. as I know many of you are itchin to get fishin!!

As winter is coming to a close, we hope, here are some pictures from over the years of winter fun at Northern Light lake. Hoping things will return to normal soon. Stay safe everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well. Although I haven’t been to the resort in awhile I only live about 80km north as the crow flies! Kevin asked me to share some pics of my winter so far. Hoping things change soon and life will get back to normal so everyone can get back to enjoying life at the resort! Maybe get to the resort for some ice fishing in March or April! Stay safe everyone and here’s a bit of my bush life! FYI .. Trout pictures in this post taken in Zone 5, which opens January 1st. Northern Light Resort is in Zone 6 so trout not open until February. This picture taken a few years back, Kevin, Gordie and I were out on Northern Light lake on a beautiful fall day. Gordie could spot moose like no one else! This cow and calf managed to disappear on us from Moose Island. Many good memories......

Patricia Ryan caught this beauty walleye out on Northern Light lake! Great catch Patricia and hope to see you back at the resort again soon!
