MONTGRAND, Arlene Doris August 21, 1960 January 31, 2021 It is with profound sadness that the family of Arlene Montgrand announces her passing in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Arlene is lovingly survived by her husband Pierre Montgrand; children: Charlene (Earl) Grandbois, Johnnie Montgrand, Toni Montgrand, Teresa (Bonnie) Montgrand; grandchildren: Malik Shaheen, JB Montgrand, Mirabelle Montgrand, Angel White, Lenin Montgrand; sibling...s: Louie (Grace) Grandbois, Rita (Bobby) Billette, Cathy (Taza) Piche, Marlene Grandbois, Pamela McNeil. Arlene was predeceased by her parents: Marie Grandbois-Scanie, Jean Baptiste Grandbois; Stepfather Donald Scanie, brother: Phillip Grandbois. A private family service will take place at St. Raphael’s Church, Cold Lake First Nations with cremation to follow. See more

Leno, Sharon Georgine August 7, 1941 ~ January 23, 2021 ~ The simple things in life are the greatest gifts- Bryant McGill ~... Sharon Georgine Leno of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of Ardmore, Alberta passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Sharon will be forever remembered and loved by her children: June Giles of Prince Albert, SK, Peter Leno of Victoria, BC, Cindy Leno of Edmonton, AB; step-children: Marvin (Maria) Straus of Lac La Biche, AB, Laurie (Randy) Dzurka of Edmonton, AB, Kevin (Corlee) Straus of Hinton, AB, Regan Straus of Eckville, AB, Heath (Anne) Straus of Bonnyville, AB; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step- great grandchildren, step- great-great grandchildren; brother: Ron Nasadyk of Surrey, BC; as well as numerous other relatives. Sharon was predeceased by her common-law-husband: John Strus in 2011; parents & siblings. Sharon’s family wishes to thank the Hardisty Care Centre nursing staff as well as the administration staff for the exceptional care and friendship that they gave Sharon over the past few years. Cremation has taken place. A Family Graveside Service will take place at a later date at the St. John’s United Church Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
