This is a drawing from a hiking trip up to Carthew and Alderson lakes in Waterton lakes national park. It’s one of the best hikes in Waterton very pretty and the best fishing of anywhere I’ve ever been. This year in university I’ve been reminded of how much I like drawing. This is a painting I did last semester in Uni I actually did this painting in one sitting while I listened to the Led Zeppelin mothership album which is one of my favourite albums of all time. I really tried to portray their music in visual form this was an interesting exercise. A lot of good memories listening to that album. #ledzeppelin #mothership #rockandroll

Just wanted to say Thank you to @liza.hill_ and her husband @ceej_h for commissioning this drawing of Carson’s dad Ron and their kids Cal and Lainey. I’m sure everyone from Raymond knows Ron’s familiar face I didn’t know him well but from what I hear he was an amazing guy. Carson and Liz’s kids never had the chance to meet Ron before he passed away 5 years ago. I am thankful that they considered me for this project. I wanted to make the drawing feel like a happy reunion when they are able to see their grandpa Ron again. I love doing drawings like this it’s nice to be able to help bring happiness into peoples lives. Today I’m grateful for education! Even though it’s a pain in my butt, I am grateful for it. I’ve learned a lot of important skills attending the university of Lethbridge. I’m working on a degree in art education with a minor in social studies education. I can’t wait till I get to help others to learn and progress in the arts.
