Did you know that January 21 is Squirrel Appreciation Day? We didn't. But after some research I found out that Chipmunks are actually squirrels. There are three types of squirrels in North America. 1-Tree Squirrels 2-Flying Squirrels and 3-Gound Squirrels. Chipmunks are classed as Ground Squirrels. So after learning this, today we celebrate our favorite fuzzy friends around the camp, the Chipmunks!
