Peter is our Eastern Canada Business Development Manager. Peter joined us in October of 2016. He works with large accounts and helps to motivate and inspire the sales staff. His continued jokester like demeanour brings many laughs and heads shaking to the office. Peter’s role keeps him busy travelling throughout Ontario meeting with accounts, mentoring staff, and increasing our customer base and partners. He maintains an active and healthy lifestyle, if you are looking for the latest info on holistic options, he’s the go-to person for answers and suggestions. His favourite way to decompress is playing hockey. Many of you might not know this, but Peter represented Greece in qualifications for the Worlds in 1996 and Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics. He has a huge weakness for Chocolate Almonds and a great steak

Mike is our Operations Manager, and started with us in 2017. He is constantly on the go handling any operational challenge in order to ensure our customer’s satisfaction. During his time away from the office, Mike enjoys building furniture and spending time with his wife and daughter. He is the proud dad of an adorable 1-year old girl and the family will soon be expanding in June, with a new bundle of joy. Mike enjoys a good pizza and a full coffee cup at all times.

Kyle joined NMBE in 2018. As Health & Safety Manager, he is immersed in our safety culture and continues to educate our staff on proper procedures. When Kyle is not onboarding new hires, he can be found at client job sites helping to ensure that that we are satisfying their Health and Safety needs. As you can see, Kyle is a huge Packers fan and truly looks forward to game day. Along with football, Kyle enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their 2-year-old dog Oliver. His weakness? A nice prime rib dinner. His go-to drink is Diet Coke.

Northern Mat & Bridge Christmas Party was this past weekend at Hockley Valley Resort. A fun time was had by all. We recognize the challenge that this holiday can bring to some families and wanted to lighten their load and bring a smile to those in need. Each of our employees brought an unwrapped gift for donation. All donations were brought to the Dufferin Child & Family Services. Poor Matty, maybe next time, he will bring a helper for the decorating. Sue Peterson has been with Northern Mat & Bridge since April of 2016. She started as our Admin Assistant and after much hard work and numerous night school classes is now our Human Resource Manager. She will soon have her official designation of CHRP. Her door is always open for any Northern Mat Employee. Her generosity with others makes her a perfect fit for her passion to volunteer. She is extremely inv...olved with the local community, helping on the Board at the Headwaters Hospital and the board for the Shelburne Fair. This year, she was proudly recognized for these efforts receiving the Community Excellence Award. During her down time, Sue enjoys a good novel a perfect escape from the textbooks she has been reading as of late. Sue and her husband are anxiously awaiting the birth of their newest granddaughter. They look forward to spoiling yet another little one. Sue is not one to be open with new cuisines, sticking to her tried and true favourites, of good roast beef or chicken dinner.
