Parging in Red Fox Estates today on the first parging job of 2021. This was a held over job from 2020 in September. First cookies of the year from a happy client as well!

Something a little different! We've been asked to beta test some new marking products for a local company. So far this fast drying, high hide enamel is impressive. Looks great even on a cloudy day... The first 4 pictures are of completed hydrants. The following 3 are during the process. First we wire wheel all loose paint off, then apply a metal etching primer that adheres instantly to bare metal, followed by 4 coats of yellow to make it pop!

We first installed the stone trim kit around this wood burning fireplace. The beautiful custom mantle grounds the space and compliments the colours in the room. A scratch coat was first applied over the concrete board for best adhesion then the stone could be tight stacked from floor to ceiling!

The view on the way to work and from work today. Spring is a crazy time to try to get work done. Happy to be working inside on a gorgeous fireplace! Should be wrapped up tomorrow!

They approached us 2 years ago with an idea for stonework on a fireplace - on one condition - its going to be a BIG wood burner so we want something old world looking. Fast forward 2 years and the clients were finally ready to move forward with the project. The end result is visually stunning! As you go back through the photos you'll be able to see the progress from bare walls to finished stonework.

Job Type: Fireplace Materials: Hudson Bay Country Ledgestone mixed Chardonnay Dressed Fieldstone. Timeline: 3 days Location: Alexander Hall... We had the pleasure of creating a real show stopper this past week including a solid wood mantel with hearthstones! The homeowners had endured a fire and a flood in the same year! The restoration company came in to smoke seal over the walls on the undamaged part of the house. Long story short they sprayed smoke seal all over the fireplace and damaged it further with liquid nitrogen trying to fix the mistakes! The stone was removed, drywall removed, plywood installed, scratch coat put up, new stone, new hearth stones, new mantel installed. The homeowners are thrilled! We've recieved many happy messages this week!
